I work in the Document Management Systems group and help manage a multimillion document repository (Imagenow) and it’s integration with other systems on campus (Peoplesoft/Oracle) and off campus.

Procurement Services @ The University of Virginia

Procurement Services – I created a CMS to manage the website and wrote several major web applications including Surplus Property, Contracts Management (a SACUBO 2010 Best Practice Selection), Wire Transfers and more. Brought Procurement into the social world by setting up a Blog/Twitter and soon a Facebook page.

Medical Automation Research Center

Medical Automation Research Center – Worked at MARC until Jan 2007 and single handedly developed software for several major research projects one of which now continues as WellAware Systems. Published several research papers and am co-inventor of one patent.

Internet Book Database – I run iBookDB. I designed it from the ground up, backend, frontend everything.

WellAware Systems

WellAware Systems – Eldercare technology firm based on some of the work done at The Medical Automation Research Center. I am a co-founder of the company. I consulted with the company for a while to help transition the work I did at MARC to a production environment.
